Defending The Indefensible (With Despicable Sarah ‘No Empathy’ Sanders)

The angels are crying tonight over the disgusting, and absurd statements from White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.  Whatever happened to her as a child that molded her into this soulless, empty vessel must have been dreadful.  Her lack of empathy was stunning to witness today in real time.  It was most fitting that she wore black–as it matches her heart.

That Sanders is not very bright is, of course, not news.  She is simply one chromosome from being an ear of corn.  Had she any knowledge of the issue at hand–or cared!–she would know the obvious.  Separating undocumented kids and parents is not codified by law, but is rather a Trump administration policy that could be rescinded at any time.

Sanders was despicable today. What she missed in book learning she made up for in shameless shoveling of crap, as proven day after day to the national press.

Isaiah 10: 1-2 says the following–in case she wishes to use the podium on Friday like a preacher and really talk from the Bible.

Woe to those who make unjust laws,
to those who issue oppressive decrees,
to deprive the poor of their rights
and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,
making widows their prey
    and robbing the fatherless.

But we might also want to grasp the fact the United States is constitutionally a secular republic, so it is unclear why the Bible is relevant except, perhaps, with reference to the conscience of individuals executing policy.

Even more distressing is the FACT that the passage J. Beauregard Sessions used to support their action was used to justify the owning of slaves. “There are two dominant places in American history when Romans 13 is invoked,” said John Fea, a professor of American history at Messiah College in Pennsylvania. “One is during the American Revolution [when] it was invoked by loyalists, those who opposed the American Revolution.”
The other, Fea said, “is in the 1840s and 1850s, when Romans 13 is invoked by defenders of the South or defenders of slavery to ward off abolitionists who believed that slavery is wrong. I mean, this is the same argument that Southern slaveholders and the advocates of a Southern way of life made.” As a former senator from Alabama, and Sanders as the daughter of a Baptist minister and Arkansas, have they no sense of irony? Of shame! Have they no sense of Decency!!!

Trump could also pay attention to the 8th Commandment. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” The Democrats didn’t pass a law requiring the ripping of children away from their parents’ arms and placing them in cages and don’t have the capability to change it. THEY’RE IN THE EFFING MINORITY. YOU CONTROL CONGRESS! If you want to implement this unconscionable policy be a man and own it. Your 38% will love you for it. Kim Jong-un will send you a valentine saying “atta-boy, couldn’t have thought of a better tactic myself.”
