Pics: Super Small Unique Moth

August 13, 2018

When the larger world is in chaos, and seemingly not to be explained, comes a reminder that it is the small things in life which not only catch our attention but intrigue us with questions.

There was a small ‘something’ fluttering down this afternoon and my first thought it probably was a small piece of a bird’s feather.  I moved my coffee cup so it would not land in it.  But not to worry as it settled with determination on the largest brightly colored object to be found.  My yellow Adirondack chair.

I took a few photos and yet not sure if this is a new hatch of something yet to grow–or if this is just the size Mother Nature created.   This insect was about 1/4 of an inch.

The white and blue are quite grand–though the pictures do not do it justice.
