Another Ugly Moment From Donald Trump–This Time On World Stage

November 10, 2018

Donald Trump couldn’t even defy the weather to pay his respects to The Fallen in France to commemorate the heroes of WW1.  Winston Churchill’s grandson, rightfully, was most concerned about the slight.

At Trump’s age it’s best for him to avoid a draft, much like he did as a young man.  He only shows up if he is the center of attention, showing respect to the fallen would require compassion and respect.  He knows neither.

This action–or lack of it–from Trump makes the United States of America look pathetic.

“As we sit here in the rain, thinking how uncomfortable we must be these minutes as our suits get wet and our hair gets wet and our shoes get wet, I think it’s all the more fitting that we remember on that day, in Dieppe, the rain wasn’t rain, it was bullets,” Justin Trudeau

I think you would have echoed the Canadian PM’s words had you been in his place. Thank you.
