Adam Rippon And Donna Brazile Coming To Madison For Wisconsin Book Festival
The Wisconsin Book Festival is always a weekend to mark on the calendar and plan to attend author presentations and signings. Madison is abuzz on the isthmus as a raft of top-notch and intriguing personalities and writers command our attention.
For instance, on Saturday, October 19th Adam Rippon will discuss his book Beautiful On The Outside at 4:30 P.M. to be followed at 6:00 P.M. with Donna Brazile making a presentation about For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Politics.
There are many events and authors for days as the festival draws large numbers of people to our energized city. During the four-day celebration in 2018, nearly 6,000 people attended 67 author experiences.
Please note that during the week preceding the weekend of the festival, and the week following, there are a number of book events in the city.
The Ideas That Made America, The Bone And Sinew Of The Land, Master Of Empire are just a small smattering of authors who will make a difference when pages are turned.
Here is the entire event schedule.
Plan a day downtown and visit our State Capitol and take a tour. Have Mediterranean food on State Street. And of course, buy a few books!
Put the weekend on your calendar and see you at the Book Festival!
