Relationship Between Maine Divorces And Margarine Consumption?

With a Mainer in our home I had to post this piece of ‘statistical wisdom’ today.

There’s an apparent relationship between Maine divorces and margarine consumption.  For the record we only eat real butter in our home, and drink whole milk.

Good post Deke. I hope your readership clicks on the link and enjoys the “delisciousness” of this site. Altho Lucy, this ‘splains where you get some of your other (“serious”) theories, among them about pot being a gateway to heroin (baby formula -> strained carrots -> juice boxes -> pot -> heroin). Ninety % of heroin addicts have had strained carrots as a baby. Fact. Look it up. On a more facetious note, perhaps the Jamester is “telling” you it’s butter and whole milk, a la Wis. State Senator Gordy Roseleip’s family. That would be a good “Weird Wisconsin” topic for a post for your readers under 60, or not from Wisconsin or aren’t politics geeks. Know what I’m talkin’ about???!!

To paraphrase the Donald Rumsfeld, “I trust you know I knew that you knew about the website and was making a joke/point. What is not known is what unknown unknowns you ‘know’ to ‘inform’ some of the other posts.” Unless they are from the Mayflower Compact, or other Puritan tracts.
