Dead Heat In Wisconsin Race For Governor


Every vote is going to count if the polls are correct when it comes to the race for Wisconsin governor.  The latest poll from Human Events and Gravis Marketing continues to paint this race as a real election-year drama.

Human Events and Gravis Marketing conducted a random survey of 1,346 likely registered Wisconsin voters regarding current events, including potential presidential and senate candidates between 7/31/14 and 8/02/14. The poll carries a margin of error of ± 3% with a 95% confidence level.

Regarding the race for Governor, voters were polled, “If the election for Governor were held today, would you vote for Republican Scott Walker, or Democrat Mary Burke?” Among all voters, Scott Walker (R) and Mary Burke (D) were tied at 47% with only 6% indicating they were unsure. A poll conducted in March, 2014 indicated a 5-point lead for Governor Scott Walker (49% to 44%).
