High-Resolution Pictures Of 2010 Winter Olympic Games

Another night of Olympic drama is about to unfold.   I think we can all admit the games have been dramatic and entertaining.  (And yes, just to put it in writing I was very pleased that ice dancing was broadcast Sunday night on NBC instead of ice hockey.)   In about an hour our living room will be filled with smiles as a friend brings pizza….does it get better than this… and joins in on the Olympic fever that has been here since the Opening Ceremonies.

To add to the drama and impact that the games create there are a series of high-resolution pictures from Los Angeles Times photographers Robert Gauthier and Wally Skalij that ‘pop’ with the highs and lows that athletes feel while competing.    I post the link here for you to enjoy and share with others.

Enjoy.  The site must be viewed to feel the full effect of the large framed pictures…the following do not do justice to those on the link.

I admit ice dancing is beautiful as they glide around the clear ice;BUT, one has to really enjoy the Canada/US hockey game [score 5-3, in our favor] over ice dancing. We’ve never seen a more interesting game than this nail biter. No dance competition can compare.

Forgot to mention, we get high resolution and HD TV. We just have to “dust” the screen. Did that before the hockey game and it was AMAZING> LOL

Let’s get to the REALLY important issue here….what kind of pizza did you eat? The right pie could have made all the difference!
