Spending last Sunday with friends in Lone Rock meant that 60 Minutes was taped. With everything happening this week it was not until this evening that I watched the show and saw one of the best segments that has been featured in a long while. With bright and powerful paintings of Vincent Van Gogh filling out the story Morley Safer searches for how the famed artist died. The bottom line seems to be two authors of a new biography say their exhaustive investigation strongly indicates van Gogh may not have taken his own life.
This is such an amazing story, and so well done the newsmagazine presented it in two segments. I strongly urge viewing this story. Journalism and story-telling at its best.
