Should Suspected Terrorists Be Allowed To Buy Guns In America?

Hmmmm.

Let’s ponder that for a  mome…

HELL NO!

Right now in this nation if your are a suspected terrorist on the no-fly list you can still legally purchase firearms.    Even if this nation was not fearful of some type of terrorist attack the very idea of a suspected terrorist having the right to head to a gun show, for instance, and pick up some weapons for a massive killing is simply absurd.    This practice must end.

There is legislation that would do that very thing.

In a bipartisan attempt to bring sanity to the issue the legislation, known as the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act, is being authored and fought for by Senator Feinstein and Congressman Peter King.    This is not the first time such a bill has been attempted–in 2007 the measure failed.

And one major reason it did fail was due to–guess who?

Yes, boy and girls, the National Rifle Association.

Yesterday on a news program New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton called on Congress to “help us out with that Terrorist Watch List, those thousands of people that can purchase firearms in this country,” saying he’s “more worried about them than I am about Syrian refugees, to be quite frank with you,”

I think this nation also needs to deal with another terrorist organization called the NRA who is stopping our nation from doing all it can to be safe.  Anyone who aids the terrorists can also be called the same.

It is time for common sense and wisdom to dominate when it comes to this matter.  How can anyone in congress not see the potential threat by allowing suspected terrorists in this nation to buy guns?

Exactly how much campaign cash from the NRA does it take to make a member of congress shove his/her head up their backside?

This comes under being the part about being a member of “a well-regulated militia.” Surely at least Scalia, Roberts, Thomas and Alito would read it that way, because, you know, they’re not activist judges and common sense isn’t spelled out in the constitution. I guess corporations have the right to bear arms too. Must be how Blackwater got off blowing away innocent civilians in Iraq.

So the NRA is a terrorist organization and anyone who aids them is a terrorist as well. At least you have put your authoritarian liberal fundamentalism on display for all to see.WOW! You are sometimes terrifying.
