OutReach Allowed Anti-Police Rant At Madison Gay Pride Parade

Simply Pathetic!

It was noted today when a passer-by sat and talked for a few minutes on our lawn that the Gay Pride Parade organized by OutReach turned into a truly outrageous display of anti-police hatred.

Readers need reminding that police were not allowed to march in the parade as all Dane County law enforcement had their applications rescinded by OutReach.  That was absurd enough, but what happened today was salt ground deeply into that wound.

Today OutReach allowed anti-law enforcement banners and chants in the parade. And, they allowed on stage for their rally, T Banks, who spewed all kinds of hateful rhetoric against law enforcement and many of their allies, including our fire department.

T Banks is rude and far afield when it comes to understanding our history.

And OutReach has proven they will get on their knees for anyone.

Simply Pathetic!

  2. Embarrassed

What a wonderful job our first responders through out Dane County have done since Monday helping people needing help due to flooding in our community. It is so sad that the day before Outreach embarrassed many of us in the community by banning law enforcement from being represented in the Pride parade and, then providing a forum for hateful attacks on our first responders. What an embarrassment for the LGBTQ community and its allies. If you see a first responder let them know that you do not agree with actions of Outreach and the hateful rhetoric that they allowed on Sunday.
