Madison’s Use Of Tax Dollars

Salt truck out on a Sunday afternoon as temps here on the Madison isthmus reaches 51 degrees.

I do hope we are paying time and a half.

We have had no more than 6 inches of snow from any snowstorm this season, and then that has happened only a couple of times spread out over the season.  So knowing the city put 65 plowing vehicles out so to clear snow and slush and ice off the streets.……that is a quote from streets division email……leaves me baffled.

We have had no real winter weather to contend with yet we are appropriating money for plowing on a day when runners in my neighborhood are wearing shorts. This use of funds might be a reason we do not have money to do the needed things in our city.
