I was doing an on-line search concerning the news teabaggers have made threats to people and businesses in Illinois regarding Wisconsin Senate Democrats. The 14 members of the senate are traveling out-of-state to deprive Republicans a quorum, and therefore the ability to pass an extreme anti-union bill.
While online I ran across this site…….and these comments. Please be reminded that rocket science and teabaggers are two words that will never appear in the same sentence. The anger among teabaggers is quite alarming….how could so many folks in this country have been potty-trained at gun point?

I’m definitely not a tea party fan, but I fail to understand why the democratic representatives have left the state. I know it is to protest and prevent quorum, I get that, but why are our people running away when they should be here fighting for us. It seems that their logic is a bit off. In addition to the obvious, they are also giving the Retardicans something else to whine about: cruising about Illinois on taxpayer $$$.
P.S. The cookies worked great on Monday when I lowered the oven temp by 25 degrees.

The bill needs to be slowed down so the citizens around the state have more time to understand what it would mean to be law.
By being out of state the senate can not meet and act.

Their logic is right on the money, not off at all. If they had stayed and been forced to vote… they could not win that fight – all would have been lost. period. (thanks to all the people that turned WI into a red state!) By leaving, they delayed vote… allowing time for people to mull over what was transpiring/about to transpire! It was the only good option – by doing it they ARE fighting for you. by staying, they would have already lost fight for you.

If only the call for “being nicer” would extend to people calling Scott Walker “Hitler” and putting gun target sights on his pictures, and extended to people like Olberman and Olberman’s psycho successor, Lawrence Donnell. And let’s not forget calling Tea Partiers “rayyysist” despite them cheering for people like Allen West, Alan Keyes, and Herman Cain.

Sarah Palin using gun sights *On A Political Map That Both Parties Have Used With ‘Gun Sights’ For Years*. Both parties have used that or a similar style map for, what, a decade? Besides, the media blamed the Arizona shooting on a right-wing guy without any facts of such, went on their “we need to talk nicer” and “look how evil the Right is” tirades, and then had egg on their face when it turns out that, if anything, the shooter is a left-wing nutjob not a right-wing nutjob.
But let’s say Palin is the only person who ever used gun sights on a political map. Obama and Pelosi and the gang went on TV and asked everyone to tone down the rhetoric. So you want to excuse what is happening in Madison because two wrongs make a right or something? All it shows is what hypocrites the left is. As usual. The Left has called the Right every name in the book for the last 10 years. Should we google some “kill Bush” pictures? I’m not even a Palin fan, but the gun sight map thing is simply ridiculous.
So, if a bunch of white people like and cheer for some black people, but don’t like and cheer for other black people, they’re racist? How does that work? Are they part-time racists?
Meanwhile, at a recent rally, “progressives” called not only for the hanging of Clarence Thomas, but also the hanging of his wife. And how often do we hear the Left call black people on the right “Uncle Toms” or worse? Heck, Chris Matthews called white people who don’t like Obama “crackers.” Yep, some fine, upstanding, non-racist, non-hate-speech or violent rhetoric people on the Left.
Speaking of racists, how about that Congressional Black Caucus? Blatantly racist, refuses to let any white person join even if the district he represents is black — but no one cares. “If you treat someone differently because of their race, you’re a racist. …except when we do it. Then it’s ok.” Just more hypocrisy and racism from the Left.

There seems to be a great deal of energy from conservatives to distance themselves from the idea that a teabagger spat upon an African American member of Congress. One of my readers commented in such stark terms over the matter today I feel the need to post the video. I thought we had all seen it enough over the last few days that it did not merit posting on CP. But it is a slow news day, and the topic seems one of interest, so here goes with commentary from Huffington Post.
(1) Cleaver obviously is either a great physical actor or some “spit-like” fluid definitely hit him in the face as he passed the protester, causing his entire body to jerk away from the accused; (2) the angry, visceral reaction from Cleaver to the protester clearly signals that something very bad had just happened. Something beyond simple partisan, anti-reform shouting; (3) notice how the protester’s hands are strategically cupped over his mouth, which would conveniently conceal the act of spitting. Keep in mind that both men at this point are perhaps two feet away from each other, which would mean the rabid protester’s vein-popping shouting at Cleaver would easily be heard sans hand-cupping, and that such distance might also make the “spray it” theory a bit of a stretch; (4) After he passes, Cleaver begins to wipe something off his face in disgust. Again, great acting?

The New York Times printed a retraction on July 25th saying there is no evidence.
Now, having said that, let’s say it happened. …so what? There’s racists everywhere in the world, black, white, Left, Right. I’d say the Tea Party has a pretty good history of shunning disrespectful people at their rallies. Can the Left that calls black conservatives “Uncle Toms” (and much worse) say the same? If the Right is racist, why do they cheer people like Allen West? Bad memories and they just forget not to?
All those not-nice comments up top in this article; we all know you can look around and read the same or worse from the Left. But they pretend they never say them.
