Last week I was upset over the fact that conservative Republican Terrence Wall had not paid state income taxes four out of the last five years. Wall hopes to replaces incumbant Senator Russ Feingold. At that time I wrote the following.
And yet he wishes to convince voters that he should be the one representing our values and interests in Washington as a United States Senator. I am quite certain than not even conservative Republicans in Wisconsin can endorse or support such behavior. It is wrong, shameful, and shady. (Or does Terrence Wall have one of those crafty lawyers that can find ‘legal’ ways not to pay taxes so the rest of us need to pay more?) No matter which way Wall tries to spin this one we all know he is not the type of person who represents Wisconsin values.
This week conservative talk radio show host Marking Belling took off on this theme with the following concerning the troubled tax-dodging candidate.
On Tuesday, Mark Belling, a right wing talk radio host on WISN 1130, said, “Very, very hard to run for the United States Senate when you haven’t paid income taxes in five years… How do you get to be a millionaire without paying any income taxes?” (All of the working class knows the answer to that one!)
In a seperate interview Charlie Sykes also blistered candidate Wall.
Sykes asked Wall, “The reports that that you personally paid nothing in personal state income tax in four of the last five years. That’s going to be a problem, isn’t it?”
Wall responded, “I don’t think so.”
Sykes told Wagner, “Of course it’s going to be a problem,” and said, “You know, and the more you try to explain it, the more you’re essentially explaining that you live in a completely different fiscal environment than most of the working people of Wisconsin.”
CAFFEINATED POLITICS 
Look on the bright side. Charlie would have to go off the air. I bet Belling would love to have Sykes away from the mike.
